Released in July 1995, Chronicles was created in an effort to satisfy players” demand for out-of-print cards. Over half of this 116 card set includes cards from Legends. Also, included are cards from Arabian Nights, Antiquities, and The Dark. Chronicles contains 165 cards for Magic: The Gathering. This box contains 45 sealed packs. Each booster pack within this box contains 12 cards including 3 uncommon, and 9 common cards.

Of the 116 cards in the Chronicles set, the most famous cards are: City Of Brass, Nicol Bolas, and Palladia-mors.
